http://www.radiojamaica.com/content/view/16851/26/ - Following RJR News reports last week, the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) has announced that it will be sending home 60 workers.
The SAJ says the move followed intense discussions with the Unions representing its work force. The reduction will include the early retirement of eight workers and the redundancy of the positions of another 24. The Shipping Association says contracts for 30 casual workers, which will expire in two weeks, will not be renewed.
