Elderly Canadian jailed on drug charges in Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 71-year-old Canadian woman caught with 3.6 kilograms of marijuana in her luggage at a Jamaican airport has been jailed for drug-smuggling.

Margueritta Lancaster-Reid will remain in jail for three months, unless she pays a $1,200 fine.
