Players can utilize points of spawn to begin their game in a particular area of the City 2K22 MT. The access to them will start once the side mission Unlock Spawn Point becomes available. There are a total of 7 spawning points for players to select from.
All of the points for spawning are deactivated simultaneously after the quest for the side quest is finished. Players have to run a predetermined distance through the city in order to finish the quest. Setting the spawn area can be done from the City map by choosing the desired spawn zone and then confirming the location.
This Unlock Spawn Points side quest is provided by ATM An NPC located in the city, and requires gamers to complete 26.2 miles. It must be done on foot, therefore using the BMX or skateboard rollerblades won't add to the total amount completed. The player also has to be running and not walking. The quest's tracking will show an indicator of progress on left side of the screen, making it easy for players to track how far they've travelled.
The total distance is recorded over time and doesn't need to be completed all at one time. Players should also be aware that running at a distance won't count, so running for hours won't work if there is obstacles in the path. After players have completed 26.2 miles and have completed it, the majority of the spawn points will automatically unlock. A spawn point is added to the map in one of 7 locations.
Setting the spawning point will alter the place where the character begins at every time the players return to the City. This is useful should there be a certain area of the City that players are required to return to. The Unlock Spawn Points quest will reward players with 1,000 MVP points. When these points are collected Buy NBA 2K Coins, they will result in unlocking the penthouse with an MVP quest. NBA 2K22 will provide a myriad of possibilities and features in the City for young players.
