RGV Resources is being developed as a tool for "Snowbirds" aka "Winter Texas" and the local Rio Grande Valley, known locally as RGV or simply the Valley, to find lodging, entertainment and services of all kinds throughout the valley. Let me use a quote from Ron Kowalczyk, co-administrator of Snowbirds/AKA Winter Texass Rio Grande Valley Texas. "Admin here. Why are we using the term Snowbirds here? A lot of Northerners have never heard of the term Winter Texas. You'd look for a Snowbird group and be directed to a group in Florida or Arizona. I used the term Snowbird to bring it here so we can make them people." Winter Texas. More than 50% of our new members don't know the term Winter Texas or don't bother looking for it. We've been Snowbirds for 2 weeks and Winter Texas for 19 seasons. We need to bring you here to see how great it is to be Season Texans Cold." With this in mind, RGV Resources was conceived and is now being created.

We plan to post properties for rent and homes for sale from a variety of sources; namely real estate agents, brokers, 55+ and park and RV owners. Only a few items are listed at the moment and more will be added soon. Our most recent properties are listed at the bottom of this page and other property categories where you can search for properties for rent or sale are listed in the row menu. 55+ and RV parks are included in the classifieds along with other business entities and are listed in the directory menu. Artists and community activities can be submitted to classifieds and events if desired. We are working on creating sections for 55+ parks, trailer parks and business directories along with a dedicated section for churches. Information and support areas for the 55+ facilities in the RGV are also planned. If you don't see a suitable area, please let us know so we can create one. Activities and events are listed below.
