Rod Fergusson, head of Gears of War developer The Coalition The Coalition, has announced that the studio is closing as a part of Blizzard. In an Instagram post, Fergusson confirmed he is joining Blizzard in March to run his role in the Diablo franchise. He acknowledged his former coworkers of The Coalition and Xbox. "Leaving is hard as I love our Gears family, the fans and everyone else in The Coalition and Xbox," he stated. "Thank everyone, it's been an honor and privilege to work with you all."
