Blizzard entertainment has revealed new images of its new Human Male WoTLK Gold character will be available in MMO World of Warcraft when the Warlords of Draenor expansion hits this season. The model currently in use Human male model has been the subject of a great deal of criticism due to its "odd dimensions and facial geometry," however, it's now changed, Blizzard said in a post in its blog.
"We've been very careful to ensure we're not changing so much that he looks like nothing you'd expect in addition to addressing some of the most obvious problems," World of Warcraft art director Chris Robinson writes. "We hope you'll be pleased with the result!"
The primary goal of Blizzard's character model overhauls is to maintain the style of the original, while simultaneously increasing fidelity and fixing issues with the past design. Personally, I think the new Human male is akin to Shrek's human body in the movie Shrek 2. That's OK, I guess.
All eight of World of Warcraft 's original playable races, in addition to their counterparts, the Draenei and Blood Elves and Blood Elves, will receive revamps to their character models with the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion. But it's not known which races will be included in the coming expansion, which will be released in the coming months. The fact that the updated models feature more polygons as well as animation effects might mean that you'll need a better computer to play World of Warcraft in the future, but Blizzard WOW WoTLK Classic Gold isn't certain at this point.
