A total of 20 teams fought in the group stage in four groups of five for Fut 24 Coins the first two places and thus for a place in the quarter-finals. Besides the two German teams RBLZ Gaming and Fokus, Atleti Raiders and Complexity Gaming were also group winners.
The best group winner met the worst group runner-up on January 16 and so on. Complexity Gaming met PSG Esports, RBLZ Gaming met Fanatic, Atleti Riders met Team Futwiz and Fokus met TG.NIP. Besides Complexity Gaming and Team Futwiz, the opponents of the German teams also prevailed.
In the semi-finals Fnatic and TG.NIP won their games and beat each other in the big final. By the way, the four finalists have secured the FIFAe World Cup ticket. In the grand finale, the Ninjas in Pyjamas beat Fnatic 5-1 and can rejoice over the victory of the Global Series.
